Unheimlich isn’t just a capsule but the transcription of a psychological experience. It is a safe place where everyone can find their dimension thanks to a tactile experience. This capsule joins oversize garments with rough fabrics in a soft body protection aesthetic. Dusty colors remind of a silent dimension and foggy villages near by a too calm rivers. In those homes found again hand woven sheet, the textile heart of the capsule. Unheimlich is the place where a internal disease takes shape. It is the point where our darkest self crawls outside. So that stains and soft fabrics from a forgotten childhood are combined with rough fabrics with a strong past.

Memory is also image and tradition. In fact, the choice of fabrics for this capsule falls precisely on fabrics that speak of houses, families, small villages in the lower Mantua area. They are materials that therefore tell of a known everyday life but with a dark, terrifyingly familiar side.The textile heart of the collection is made up of loom-woven hemp. This kind of fabric was used as a dowry by women in my area. These were essentially sheets, woven on the home loom using hemp. The characteristic of these sheets was the roughness to the touch. The hemp rolls brought as a dowry by the bride were known as "roduli". They were an essential part of the wedding trousseau. Usually the fabrics were about two meters long and seventy cm wide. Furthermore, traditionally the rodules must always be odd, with the exception of the number twelve, a symbol of abundance. However, there were still very few girls who could afford a story number of rolls.Some of the modules used were selected from my family's sideboards, others were kindly donated to me by the women of my town
